All bell bearing locations in Elden Ring

Bell bearings are Elden Ring items that either move a vendor’s wares to another location, or allow resources usually only found in the world to be sold.

Specifically, you’ll be able to offer a bell bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold to add items to their purchase option.

In this Elden Ring guide, we’ll explain how to use bell bearings, and show you map locations for all bell bearings in the game along with the merchant items (like Smithing Stones) they are associated with.

Where to find the Twin Maiden Husks

Over on the north side of Roundtable Hold (where you find the Table of Lost Grace site of grace), you’ll find the Twin Maiden Husks. (You can see what they look like in the lead image of this article.)

If you can’t find them, they are in the same hallway where Sir Gideon Ofnir, that silent guy leaning against the wall, and Nepheli are found at various times.

They start out selling a few important items like the Blue and White Cipher rings, an armor set, and a handful of basic weapons. Whenever you pick up a bell bearing, bring it to the Twin Maiden Husks and offer it to them. This will add a handful of new items to their shop. If the bell bearing came from a vendor, for example, it will add all of their wares to the Twin Maiden Husk shop.

How to get bell bearings from merchants

Every merchant you meet — the Nomadic Merchants, Isolated Merchants, and Abandoned Merchants — all across the Lands Between will drop a bell bearing when you kill them.

Collecting these is a good way to move all of their goods to one location, turning the Twin Maiden Husks into a one-stop shop.

Elden Ring Limgrave bell bearing locations

There are eight bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Limgrave. They are: Bernhal’s bell bearing, Bone Peddler’s bell bearing, Gostoc’s bell bearing, Kale’s bell bearing, Patches’ bell bearing, and Nomadic Merchant’s bell bearings [1], [2], and [3].

For the merchants, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Bernhal’s bell bearing. Bernhal is the soldier who hangs out at the Warmaster’s Shack in the northern part of West Limgrave. You can kill him for his bell bearing, but he’s involved with late-game quests in Volcano Manor and Crumbling Farum Azula, so it might be best to leave him alone for now.
• Bone Peddler’s bell bearing. Visit the Warmaster’s Shack in northern West Limgrave at night, and you’ll be invaded by a Bell Bearing Hunter. Defeat them to claim this bell bearing.
• Gostoc’s bell bearing. Gostoc is the NPC who offers to open the main gate of Stormveil Castle for you, and then moves through the castle with you until you defeat Godrick, at which point he’ll stay at the Godrick the Grafted site of grace venting his frustrations. Kill him (at any point) to collect his bell bearing.
• Kale’s bell bearing. Kale is the merchant you meet at the Church of Elleh. You’ll need to speak with him as part of Blaidd’s quest, so don’t go killing him for his bell bearing right away.
• Patches’ bell bearing. You’ll find Patches inside Murkwater Cave in West Limgrave. Patches will travel around (with more than a couple betrayals involved) until he ends up in Volcano Manor late in the game. If you choose to kill him in Murkwater Cave instead of sparing him, you’ll grab his bell bearing.

Elden Ring Weeping Peninsula bell bearing locations

There are three bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Weeping Peninsula. They are: Sellen’s bell bearing, and Nomadic Merchant’s bell bearing [4] and Isolated Merchant bell bearing [1].

For the merchants, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Sellen’s bell bearing. Sorceress Sellen has a rather complicated quest, so it’s not as simple as just visiting the Witchbane Ruins and picking up her bell bearing — in fact, you’ll meet her first in the Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave, but that’s not her physical body (it’s a whole thing).

There are 11 bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Liurnia. They are: Blackguard’s bell bearing, Iji’s bell bearing, Meat Peddler’s bell bearing, Miriel’s bell bearing, Pidia’s bell bearing, Seluvis’s bell bearing, Smithing-Stone Miner’s bell bearing [1], Thops’s bell bearing and Nomadic Merchant’s bell bearings [5] and [6] and Isolated Merchant’s bell bearing [2].

For the merchants, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Blackguard’s bell bearing. You’ll meet Blackguard Big Boggart at the Boilprawn Shack in southern Liurnia. His quest involve’s Rya’s stolen necklace and more boiled crustaceans than you’d expect. If you keep him alive, he’ll move to Leyndell and be involved in the Dung Eater’s quest. Kill him at either location to pick up his bell bearing.
• Iji’s bell bearing. You’ll find the giant Smithing Master and, later, War Counselor Iji at the Road to the Manor site of grace where you can buy Somber Smithing stones from him. He’s part of both Blaidd’s and Ranni’s quests, so don’t attack him right away.
• Meat Peddler’s bell bearing. Visit the Church of Vows at night, and you’ll get invaded by a(nother) Bell Bearing Hunter.
• Miriel’s bell bearing. Miriel, Pastor of Vows is the turtle pope at the Church of Vows in eastern Liurnia. Killing them will earn you their bell bearing, but at what cost?
• Pidia’s bell bearing. Pidia, Carian Servant is a merchant you’ll find inside Caria Manor, but you can’t actually reach him until after you complete Caria Manor and then drop down from the Three Sister’s plateau. You also can’t kill Pidia directly. His death comes about as part of Ranni’s quest, at which point you can pick up his bell bearing.
• Seluvis’s bell bearing. You’ll meet Seluvis as part of Ranni’s quest. His machinations are complicated (and probably involve Pidia?), but when he meets his end, you can loot his bell bearing from his corpse.
• Smithing-Stone Miner’s bell bearing [1]. You’ll earn this bell bearing for defeating the Crystalian boss inside the Raya Lucaria Crystal Cave.
• Thops’s bell bearing. You’ll first meet Thops at the Church of Irith just after entering Liurnia where he’ll ask you for a Glintstone Key. You can kill him right away, or give him a key and visit his corpse inside the Academy of Raya Lucaria at the Schoolhouse Classroom site of grace.

Elden Ring Altus Plateau and Leyndell, Royal Capital bell bearing locations

There are six bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Altus Plateau and Leyndell, Royal Capital. They are: Corhyn’s bell bearing, Medicine Peddler’s bell bearing, Smithing-Stone Miner’s bell bearing [2], Somberstone Miner’s bell bearing [2] and Nomadic Merchant’s bell bearing [7] and Hermit Merchant’s bell bearing [1].

For the merchants, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Corhyn’s bell bearing. You’ll first meet Brother Corhyn in Roundtable Hold, but he’ll eventually head to Altus Plateau north of the Altus Highway Junction site of grace. He’s on his own journey searching for someone named Goldmask, so you may not want to interrupt him just yet.
• Medicine Peddler’s bell bearing. A Bell Bearing Hunter will invade when you visit the Hermit Merchant’s Shack at night.
• Smithing-Stone Miner’s bell bearing. You’ll find the Smithing-Stone Miner’s bell bearing in a chest inside the Sealed Tunnel dungeon.
• Somberstone Miner’s bell bearing. You’ll get this bell bearing when you defeat the two Crystalian bosses at the end of the Altus Tunnel dungeon.

Elden Ring Mt. Gelmir bell bearing locations

There are two bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Mt. Gelmir. They are: Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [1] and Nomadic Merchant’s bell bearing [8].

For the merchants, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [1]. You’ll receive this bell bearing for defeating the Erdtree Burial Watchdog inside the Wyndham Catacombs.

Elden Ring Caelid and Dragonbarrow bell bearing locations

There are six bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Caelid and Dragonbarrow. They are: Gowry’s bell bearing, Gravity Stone Peddler’s bell bearing, and Somberstone Miner’s bell bearing [1] and Isolated Merchant’s bell bearing [3], Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearing [9] and [10].

For the merchants, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Gowry’s bell bearing. You’ll find Gowry in his shack a little southwest of the Church of Plague. Gowry and Millicent (who is at the Church of Plague) have a questline of their own, so don’t go killing him until that’s done.
• Gravity Stone Peddler’s bell bearing. Visit the Isolated Merchant’s Shack in the northwest at night to get invaded by a Bell Bearing Hunter who will drop this bell bearing.
• Somberstone Miner’s bell bearing [2]. You’ll earn this bell bearing for defeating the Fallingstar Beast at the end of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel dungeon. (You might also get transported into this dungeon from the Dragon-Burnt Ruins in Limgrave.)

Elden Ring Siofra River bell bearing locations

There are two bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Siofra River and Nokron, Eternal City. They are: Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s bell bearing [1] and Abandoned Merchant’s bell bearing.

For the merchant, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s bell bearing [1]. Not far into your exploration of Nokron, Eternal City, you’ll find this bell bearing on a corpse.

Elden Ring Ansel River and Nokstella, Eternal City bell bearing locations

There are two bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Ansel River and Nokstella, Eternal City. They are: Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s bell bearing [2] and Hermit Merchant’s Bell Bearing [3].

For the merchant, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s bell bearing [2]. You’ll find this bell bearing in a chest inside Nokstella a little west of the Nokstella, Eternal City site of grace.

Elden Ring Mountaintops of the Giants bell bearing locations

There are four bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Mountaintops of the Giants. They are: Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [2], Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [3], and Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [3] and Hermit Merchant’s Bell Bearing [2].

For the merchants, you just have to visit and kill them. For the others:

• Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [2]. The Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss in the Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs will drop this bell bearing.
• Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [3]. Not far from the Grand Lift of Rold, you’ll find the Zamor Ruins. There are stairs leading down on the west side of the ruins. You’ll find this bell bearing in a chest underground.
• Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [3]. As you approach the First Church of Marika on the southern shore of the Freezing Lake, you’ll find this bell bearing on a corpse out front.

Elden Ring Crumbling Farum Azula bell bearing locations

There are four bell bearings to find (or murder for) in Crumbling Farum Azula. They are: Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [3], Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [4], Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [4], and Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [5].

All of Crumbling Farum Azula’s bell bearings as loot on corpses as you descend.
