Chelsea Stark
Executive Editor
Chelsea Stark is an executive editor at Polygon, providing leadership to many pieces of the site, including its guides, service, and commerce teams, along with sitewide operations. She has more than 15 years of experience working in media, and more than a decade focused on video games. She’s passionate about games like The Legend of Zelda franchise, many other Nintendo properties, Persona, Monster Hunter, and Street Fighter.
Chelsea has a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, and a master’s from New York University. She is currently an adjunct instructor for the Studio 20 concentration at NYU’s journalism school, a master’s program that focuses on innovation inside of digital newsrooms. She is also a graduate of the Poynter Women in Media Leadership Academy. She previously worked at Mashable, along with several local television affiliates in her hometown of Austin, Texas. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
